Participation in “Shizen – le Nöel japonais de la Recyclerie,” a Christmas market held in 18th arrondissement of Paris

“Washoku” to release messages on outstanding Japanese craftsmanship will participate in the annual Christmas market of 18th arrondissement of Paris during two days of December 12 (Sat) – December 13 (Sun), 2020 with the help of Maison Wa which introduces Japanese goods products in Paris.

This time the theme of “Shizen – le Nöel japonais de la Recyclerie” is Japan for the first time. In the place with the image of Japanese winter village, we will exhibit the tin drinking vessel “Masu-jiro” and “Etena” tumbler whose production is realized by traditional techniques of artisans and cutting-edge technologies.

One of the characteristics of the Tokyo antimony crafts “Masu-jiro” and “Etena” is that of tin: it eliminates impurities. The water or sake poured into these vessels tastes good with a wonderful fragrance. They retain heat very well and those are friendly to both people and the environment.
* This business is selected as one of “Buy TOKYO promotional activity support projects” of Tokyo. It aims at selling products of Tokyo with regional characters both inside and outside Japan and also aims at releasing messages on those products.
